Rumours say this, rumours say that...
During the previous quarterly meeting, Emmanuel Jaunart mentioned that Devoteam HQ is moving this year.
Options to move to that were mentioned are:
- B&D Center at The Heizel: Guidance offices
- Staying where they are now (Rue Royale / Koningsstraat)
- Move to a "secret" location.
You probably heard the following info whispered in the corridors or mailed to you from a colleague who heard it from a colleague who has it from “a good source”;
Although not officially announced, we all know now that the contract for the offices at Rue Royale / Koningsstraat is ending this year.
Although not officially announced, we also know that the contract at B&D (Guidance offices) is ending this year (with an option to extend).
At the Guidance offices, redecorations have been planned, announced and cancelled. Several times now. No new plans for redecoration or works seem to be planned.
For the third option, the new possible location is no longer a “secret”: the l’Oréal building at Route de Lennik / Lennikse Baan in Anderlecht (coordinates on Google Maps: 50.816539, 4.271697).
New rumors say that it is becoming more and more unlikely that Devoteam will move there. Several reasons were mentioned.
A move towards Expanded Media (Philips site in Leuven) seems to be out of the question (although there is plenty of free space). Same thing goes for Siemens in Herentals.
What about all this? Time is pushing and some clarity and info about all this from the management certainty would be nice! |
